I. The Metaphysical Reading
How the stone has been held.
Bronzite is traditionally worked with as a stone of measured boundaries, returning intrusive energy to its sender without escalation. Practitioners carry it during difficult family visits and legal proceedings, and it is favoured for anyone learning that a firm no is often the most generous answer available.

II. The Scientific Reading
What the lattice actually does.
Bronzite is the iron-bearing variety of enstatite, an orthorhombic pyroxene whose characteristic bronze schiller arises from oriented inclusions of hematite or goethite along the cleavage planes. It forms in mafic and ultramafic igneous rocks such as norite and gabbro, and is quarried commercially in the Bushveld Complex of South Africa and in the Alpine peridotites of Austria.
