I. The Metaphysical Reading
How the stone has been held.
Chabazite is worked with as a stone of gentle sieving after periods of intense intake, kept nearby during study reviews, therapy work and long conversations that need to settle before they are acted on.

II. The Scientific Reading
What the lattice actually does.
Chabazite is one of the most common zeolites, a hydrated calcium aluminosilicate with a wide-pore trigonal framework used industrially for ion exchange, gas separation and radioactive caesium capture after the Chernobyl and Fukushima accidents. It forms in the vesicles of basalt lavas alongside heulandite and stilbite; classic specimens come from the Faroe Islands, Iceland and Nasik in India.
