I. The Metaphysical Reading
How the stone has been held.
Maligano jasper is held as a stone of integration and steady repair. Its brecciated pattern is read as a reminder that broken things can be re-bound into something intricate and stronger than the original.

II. The Scientific Reading
What the lattice actually does.
Maligano jasper is a brecciated chalcedony from the Maligano area of Sulawesi, Indonesia. It formed when older silica-rich rock was fractured and later re-cemented by silica-bearing fluids, trapping angular fragments in a network of fine mineralized veins.
