I. The Metaphysical Reading

How the stone has been held.

Orpiment is treated with great respect in metaphysical practice. It is associated with solar energy, transformation and the courage to face shadow material, but is rarely used directly on the skin because of its arsenic content.

II. The Scientific Reading

What the lattice actually does.
