I. The Metaphysical Reading
How the stone has been held.
Chlorite Quartz is worked with as a stone of garden work and cellular repair, kept nearby during recovery, planting seasons and the slow greening that follows a difficult winter. Practitioners hold it as a reminder that clarity and chlorophyll can share the same lattice.

II. The Scientific Reading
What the lattice actually does.
Chlorite Quartz is clear quartz that grew around or with inclusions of chlorite-group minerals — a family of hydrous magnesium-iron-aluminium silicates — producing vivid green clouds, phantoms and dendrites within the crystal. Alpine cleft occurrences and Brazilian pegmatites yield the classic specimens; the chlorite formed either before or during quartz growth and was engulfed as the crystal advanced.
