I. The Metaphysical Reading
How the stone has been held.
Danburite is worked with as a stone of tender clarity, kept nearby during heart openings, hospice work and the quiet room where forgiveness happens. Practitioners hold it as a reminder that light does not have to be bright to be complete.

II. The Scientific Reading
What the lattice actually does.
Danburite is a calcium boron silicate first described in 1839 from Danbury, Connecticut. The finest gem-quality crystals come from the Charcas district of San Luis Potosí, Mexico, where colourless to pale yellow prisms grow in hydrothermal veins cutting limestone. It cleaves poorly and takes a good facet.
