I. The Metaphysical Reading
How the stone has been held.
Enhydro Quartz is worked with as a stone of preserved feeling, kept nearby during memorial work, ancestral remembrance and the writing of things one does not want to lose. Practitioners hold it as a reminder that some water was never meant to evaporate.

II. The Scientific Reading
What the lattice actually does.
An enhydro is a quartz crystal that trapped a bubble of ancient fluid — usually a mix of water, gas and dissolved minerals — during its growth. The bubble moves visibly when the crystal is tilted. Enhydros are prized by fluid-inclusion researchers because the trapped liquid preserves a small sample of the hydrothermal environment in which the crystal formed.
