I. The Metaphysical Reading
How the stone has been held.
Heulandite is worked with as a stone of ancestral memory and gentle release, held during meditation to soften old grief and revisit past-life impressions without becoming lost in them.

II. The Scientific Reading
What the lattice actually does.
Heulandite is a calcium-rich zeolite that crystallises inside vesicles of altered basaltic lava when hot, silica- and alumina-bearing groundwater percolates through the rock. Its layered aluminosilicate framework contains channels wide enough to hold loosely bound water molecules and exchangeable cations, giving the zeolite family its characteristic ability to dehydrate and rehydrate without structural collapse. The pearly lustre on the perfect (010) cleavage is diagnostic.
