I. The Metaphysical Reading
How the stone has been held.
Conichalcite is worked with as a stone of contained vitality, kept nearby during recovery work, careful diets and the disciplines that ask us to metabolise a difficult inheritance. Practitioners hold it as a reminder that even bright green can be a warning colour.

II. The Scientific Reading
What the lattice actually does.
Conichalcite is a hydrated calcium copper arsenate that forms as botryoidal green crusts in the oxidised zones of copper deposits containing primary arsenic minerals. Because arsenic is present in its formula, specimens should not be handled wet, powdered or ingested; wash hands after contact and store away from food surfaces.
