I. The Metaphysical Reading

How the stone has been held.

Moldavite is one of the most talked-about stones of accelerated change. Formed in a moment of impact, it is worked with as a catalyst — a stone said to move life along quickly and to open doorways that were already ajar.

II. The Scientific Reading

What the lattice actually does.

Moldavite is a natural silica-rich glass — a tektite — formed roughly 15 million years ago when a large meteorite impact in what is now the Nördlinger Ries in Germany hurled molten ejecta across central Europe. It is found only in a limited strewn field across Bohemia and Moravia in the Czech Republic.
